Then the ambience in the bagpipe is simply cozy and quaint. The service was extremely nice and quick. The schnitzel is delicious, the portions are large. The prices for all drinks and food are great! We would like to come again!

This is possibly my favourite pub in Gelnhausen. Great beer and the food is really good value. People are very helpful.

Were yesterday with a few colleagues to Schrottwichteln and common food there. The service was very nice, attentive and fast. The drinks and food were brought to the table very quickly. I had an onion schnitzel and was very pleased with the taste and size. The one star deduction is because it was just too dark for me in the guest room. But I am also night blind and it is "complain" at a high level.

Food was wonderful, steak had, 1a. Service friendly and attentive. To recommend..

Cozy place with a nice ambience (especially outside) and tasty beer and good food. Unfortunately, the operations could be a little more on the ball. At the first drink one waits with 37 degrees reluctantly until the food was already served.

25 years ago, I turned 21 while in the Army & stationed in Gelnhausen. I spent most of my night at the Dudelsack. The beer is (was) cold, and the staff fantastic! The Greyhound drinks were top-notch as I barely recall. On an another evening, seated outside, the waitresses breast fell from her top as she bent over to serve us. Regardless, I highly recommend the Dudelsack & would love to return!

Super Irish Pub Service. The Irish is exhausted in Guinness and a certain sparkling spirit. But there is everything else that the indigenous people consume. From beer to cider. You can eat too, this part of the menu is relatively short, but that's just a pub. But it is very intimate. Serving is super, with the aunt's direct, licked mouth, and holds 14 people's food orders. There is a car park but it is finite. On the shore of Kinzig there is usually a place. I recommend to everyone! I mean the pub. 😁

Almost 50 years ago, opened by Walter and Ute as a small beer tavern, the bagpipe has lost none of its original cosiness despite its extensions. One of the first addresses in Gelnhausen, you meet here again and again old acquaintances. The kitchen is good, the beer garden always well attended. Service friendly and fast. In the meantime taken over by the landlord, flair and the tradition of the restaurant are still preserved. Go in and feel good.
